Preload for CSS?
Can you preload images in JS so that you get a smooth rollover in CSS, or does the preload only work if the rollover is done in JS too?

Why not just put the rollover and none rollover image into 1? That way they're both loaded at page open. Css is background position -right or left

When looking at the source of your site there was an if ie8. As far as I know there is no ie8..?

I think he was trying to get "less than IE8", including IE7 and lower (not IE8). The "lte" is less than or EQUAL to, so putting IE7 should work.

Ah, good. I find that's the best way to do them, super fast and they just load with the page.
