Just saw that and thought I'd pop in and say that really around 600W is the norm these days, currently there are up to over 1000W PSU's which are ridiculous but... hey if you got the cash to spare, buy it and brag

1000W is just crazy - the computer must be amazing spec. I think mine is 450w, but my computers nothing special, it needs upgraded actually.

I'd rather get a better GFX card than a big PSU, But anyway you need around 55-650W for a decent gaming machine.
