Hey everybody!
I was looking for some good freelancer forums, when I came across talk freelance. Well, what do you know, I signed up for this board almost 10 years ago! I found the account when searching my email. I must have signed up as a teenager back in the day (I would have been 16, I'm 25 now).
I find it kind of funny my profile says "I'm new around here!"
Anyway, I'm an entrepreneur who has done my share of freelancing, I'm currently working full time remote as an evangelist. I have been doing web development forever, before Google Chrome, before AJAX, yeah...
I'm interested in how I can make freelancers lives easier. Right now I'm working on a project called
DevPort, which makes it easy for developer to showcase their work in a portfolio.
I'm an expert in CSS and HTML, and about 85% of the way there with javascript. I love hanging out in the noobie HTML section and fixing CSS bugs, so that's probably where you'll find me.
When I'm not coding I play the drums (getting pretty good at Metallica), bicycle, kayak, and work with microcontrollers.
Nice to meet you all and I look forward to becoming an active member of this community.
