Need Wordpress guru to fix a bug

Need some one pretty good with wordpress to help fix a problem I am having.

Pretty much the problem is when a user with a subscriber level tries to edit the profile settings eg Name and so forth they get an error saying "You can’t give users that role." but there was never any option there to change a role in the first place.

So just need some one to fix that up and there might be a few little other bugs around the place as well, but thats the main one.
