Hey Robson - what browser are you using? I've tested it in all of my Mac browsers and IE & FF on PC and didn't see that flicker.

Thanks man!

the problem with the bright background is i can't easily read a full page of content because of it. . . . don't make it any harder on the user than it already is

That is one crazy mixture of colours on that site!

Heres my $0.02:

1. You have a #666666 border around the left, bottom and right of the content but not the top??? It doesn't look right. It makes me think I have to scroll up more to see the rest of the border but I can't.

2. The orange crossword background is too much and distracts from the content, is this what you want?

3. The various coloured navigational links should be standardised, keep them the same so you don't distract and confuse the visitor.

4. The header has your logo which is ok, but then it has this huge image to the right of it...now correct me if I am wrong but I thought the whole idea of logos and headers is to impress on your visitors your branded identity? Keep these elements separate. I would even go so far as to remove the right image of the world and that writing. It would look a lot more professional.

5. Try to separate the hosting content columns on the left more, maybe with a vertical bar? When I try to read it, I am trying to read across the page and not down those small columns.

6. Your site is not valid HTML : http://validator.w3.org/check?verbos...atinghost.com/

7. You have an error in your javascript which is affecting your CSS :

8. Your page is slow to load:

Ahh - you guys just can't handle it!! Of COURSE there's too much color - everybody else doesn't have ENOUGH color.

One thing about this site - people either love it or hate it. That's actually what I'm going for - if you make a site that everybody "kinda" likes, you'll get lost in the giant steaming pile of mediocrity. Make a site that inspires comments.

@the header: put the logo overtop of the globe. there's soo much going on. axe all the extra text => honest, great hosting, axe web hosting from the under the logo - unless it's fully apart of the logo, but host is already in the logo there's no need for it to be - if not, but the slogan under that logo instead, and drop the opacity of the globe some.

@menu: it's backwards. they should all be grey and the rollover states should be different colour => the primaries for the omportant links and black for the rest.

@layout: it's too compact. add more spacing between rows of information. left aling the text first, that might be what's making it looked so cramped. axe the grey border and replace it w/ a dark orange. if you're going to bold words as highlightes, really do it and give them some colour => dark orange again. i'd change the "it's time" to orange too just for consistancy since nothing else in the layout is red.

@browser issues: opera doesn't like your layout.

I do think theres a bit too many colours in it.

I think all those colours in there would work better if you had a background thats easier on the eyes.

Lets just pretend theres a white background.. Dont you think it looks better? >.> No?
