  Old  Hooking up laptop to 32inch LCD HDTV?

Hey guys,
I recently set up my laptop to be displayed on my 32 inch HDTV (LCD) and wanted to know if there were options to get a better resolution. I can only seem to get a resolution of 1366 x 768.

I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience with this, and could help me out. Maybe that is the max resolution I can get, but I would think with a 32 inch you should be able to get a lot more. I get more resolution on just the laptop screen then this.
