Solution: remove post couts from threads. People will spam a lot less when poost aren't considered anything valuable.

The only reason they user is spamming is probably to achieve the 5 post rule to be allowed to advertise...

Post counts shouldn't be removed because of a few intolerent kids.

Very true. They also kind of make ranks and people sometimes think they are better then others because of their high post count, well I have seen this on other forums.

Robson also makes a good point. :P

They serve such little purpose. I'd remove them personally anyways, but that's your call.

I'm just throwing the option out there.

I've yet to actually know of a spammer who spammed purely for the fact of having a higher number display beside any of their spammy posts. Whether there is a post count in every post, in a profile or not at all those people will still spam.

Yes, this is an issue, for some strange reason some people think that if they have 1000+ posts then they are considered 'cool'. But I say It's quantity and not quality, I wouldnt say this is that much of an issue here, as the forum mainly consists of older people. So I say if someon is clearly doing it to gain respect, just ignore them.

I like seeing post count, it gives a little background on the person.
