Talkfreelance performance issues?
Hey everyone...
Is anyone else having problems loading talkfreelance from time to time? In terms of loading slow, 404 errors etc.
Site5 always seem to have an excuse when I enquire but i'm getting a little annoyed about this now, just wondering if it's JUST me.

It just started loading slow after I read this thread. ;o
It's usually fine though, and I have never experienced any 404 errors where there shouldn't be.

Havent had anything like it, Robson.

I agree. I have never had problems with talkfreelance except that one day it went down.

It seems to happen very badly at the wee-hours of night and earlier morning. I've been noticing them lately.

I use the forums central time between midnight-4am. Everynight, around the same time( 1-3 ) the forums acts up. As in, I type in the quick reply, and I get a 404 or it will just sit and try to load. After wait awhile, I click it a few more times and it says I made a double. Or pages refuse to load without taking time to find them.
And no it's not my connection.

I think it's something to do with either a) The dodgy mysql server or b) the backup process. I have e-mailed site5 regarding this.

I have about 12 other websites running on a host very simular to site5--all of which have the same issue around the same time of night. If you find any news about something that may be common on other servers, please let me know.

I've had some really slow loading times for TF, every other site runs fine though.
Strange
