Coffee! I mean, um, I'm new here too.
I've been advised that new people should post an introductory thread in the "Member Introductions" forum. So, here I am, posting.
I'm not a professional designer, (I've taken a certificate course in Digital and Web design), but I have hopes of fixing that (eventually). I do have some experience in art, art history, and in theatrical design, which I hope will carry over.
I intend to utilize this forum for practice, a reason to create that's not job-oriented, feedback, and hopefully some learning.

Thanks! Theatrical design is pretty interesting, it's the first place anyone introduced (to me) the idea of blending theme into visual surroundings. It went downhill from there.

LoL What's this "a bit" part? If it's one thing I do wholeheartedly, it's be unlike the other children!
Yes, hello Stormcat. (It's her fault I'm here. I was watching over her shoulder when she was posting to the site on her laptop. Blame her. I do.)_

Heh, well, at least I wasn't doing knotwork on it at the time.... (lol, she's banned me from working on my knotwork art whenever our group gets together, because she'll start drifting off in the middle of sentences watching...)
