To my mind, there is no best host ever, there is only the best one for your needs.

I beg to differ! There are no such things as a "best host company". There are, however, the best ideal hosting company based on the services, features and budget one may be looking for. The first thing you should do is make a clear list of all the features and support a hosting service should have in order to be considered a potential one based on your website, budget and maybe future needs. Then search for and make a list of hosting service providers and check everything each has based on those needs. Then, make a choice between the two to three providers you may have on that list. It also helps to make a little background check of any providers you are unfamiliar with by visiting their forums and sites like complaintsboard.com.
Good luck!

My favorite are bluehost and hostgator. They are the most professional web hosting companies I have ever came across. GoDaddy is also good, but I haven't tried them for too long.

Check out their network uptime, customer support. contact the host and ask for any specials and current discounts.

I find that sometimes companies that are smaller and just starting out offer better support as they have that much more to work for in gaining new customers and relying on others to provide good word of mouth advertising to their friends, family and associates.

Don't forget about the small companies when looking for webhosting.

The best web hosting provider is the one that can give your requirements exceptionally plus good customer service. You will know it when you are there.

The most valuable negative reviews are the ones that portray both sides of the pictures because they are unlikely to be biased as they can see the good and the bad unlike the ones that are just really pissed at a particular host because they made one or two mistakes.

hostgator, godaddy, bluehost and hostome.com all are big name. which is you can consider, but i would say you must read reviews before taking service providers. when selecting cheap website hosting, be sure that the web host provider is reliable.
