  Old  Do you have Firebug?

Do you have Firebug in your computer? It is a web development tool for Firefox. It looks cool. In the official website where you can download the tool from, it is said that you can "...edit, debug, and monitor CSS, HTML, and JavaScript live in any web page." I have downloaded and installed it but I have no idea how to use it. Have you tried it?

Like the Village Genius (love the name my friend) said, you just have to use it to know how to play with it. Most programs are like this. Books and tutorials are useless unless you are right there doing the things you are reading.

I do not have Firebug, but I do have the web developer tool bar for firefox, unless Firebug is another name for it. I can pretty much do all of those things you mentioned Firebug allows you to do with the web developer toolbar.

I'll vouch for Firebug as well since it has came in handy several times while working on my own websites and that of clients for spotting small errors. As for the difficulty of using it, I'd say it's fairly easy once you've messed around with it. I haven't tried it for JS though, only for CSS/HTML.

I have it. Like the others said, it is pretty easy to use Firebug. Try to learn it. It is worth the time you spend to get used to it.

I moved from Firebug to Safari Web Inspector. It is actually written in Javascript and CSS itself and can even be found in Chrome as well (WebKit).

Thanks for the tip. I hadn't heard of Firebug before. I just downloaded it and I can already think of ways to use this program.

I do not have it, but reading those comments I am thinking to have it right now, thanks to you.
