Which text editor do you use?
Just curious as to which text editor or html editor software everyone uses. Any recommendations on some that are better than others?

To be honest- I'm really boring, I normally just write everything up in notepad then I'll transfer the files over to dreamweaver and do any fine tuning from there. I don't have a lot of experience using different text editors- I'm sure there's better ways to do it out there but that's my personal method!

I recently started using Gedit, with a bunch of plugins. I also occasionally use Vim for editing things such as system files.

Depending on the file I'm editing, I usually use Notepad ++ for xhtml / html files or whatever, and Metapad for php files and what-not.
