  Old  [Suggestion] Remove this Rule..

In my honest opinion, I believe that there shouldn't be a rule saying that you cannot post more than 1 thread every 5 days in the marketplace. I've expressed myself in another thread that Vizon started, but I thought I'd share it with all the other staff/members to see what you think.

People may be selling more than one product that have nothing to do with each other. If you are selling a web design for a hosting company, and at the same time you are selling services, like advertising space or something. These have nothing to do with each other and would be in totally different "categories" of selling.. Therefore it would be hard to put them into the same thread to make money off of both offers. You'd have to post one, and then wait 5 days to offer the other, when you might just very well need money within the next 2 days to pay for something.

I hope you agree...

If it is a different category, we now allow it.

Thank you for your comments, Cushioned.

The outdated guidelines and the up-to-date rules page both say that the restrictions are per unique item, service or product. Putting up a hosting template for sale today along with offering your design services and a different template tomorrow is absolutely fine.

The restrictions are in place, to give an example, to prevent you posting up that same hosting template in another thread within 10 days (the outdated guidelines say 5 but the rules page says 10).

This is very rarely an issue as people generally only ever post an item for sale in one topic.

Well that makes more sense. Thank you again for clarifying. I thought it was along the lines of just 1 thread per 5 days period. Obviously there isn't much need to make multiple threads on one topic within 5 days, unless you really have nothing better to do but make people angry

Thanks yet again!

Last I knew, you were only allowed ONE sale thread, per every 24 hours? Different sales that is...like...

Selling blog design today! (posted today)
Selling portfolio design! (needs to be posted next day (24 hour later) ).

Of course, unless you combined all your sales within ONE thread at one time.

EDIT: What he (Salathe) said above... LOL! Sorry...Read through quickly, didn't really read what was written above.
