Old  Your Thoughts on Forum SEO

Hey guys, I was just wondering what you guys thought about Forum SEO. I am just starting out with SEO, and as you could guess, I own a forum. Is there anything that should be done differently, when optimizing a forum?

Thanks,

It not an easy thing to optimize a forum, it's long time consuming in order to generate traffic to your forum. First of all, you should think about 8 keyword phrases. Try to use meta tags.

Not just traffic, an automatic backlink to your site also if and only if the forums site that you're into is a Do Follow...

First of all your forum needs to be with content. Also that must useful and interesting. I believe that people come from SE to the forum not because they have been looking for the your certain forum - because your forum have the answer on their question. I think that is the KEY for your forum SEO

Hi,

When your forum will have lots of threads on various subject and enough traffic.

There will be better chances to get indexed by google more often and it will get ranking as well.
