Old  MBP Adding Another DVI Monitor

Right now I have a 22.1in monitor hooked up using the DVI connection on my MBP. Is there another way to add another monitor? I've seen a few products such as

http://sewelldirect.com/vtbookpcmciacard.asp which seems like that would work, but is pretty expensive.

http://sewelldirect.com/USB-to-DVI-A...1600x1200.asp# this guy is PC only the moment.

http://www.cablesunlimited.com/produ...roupcode=I3581 what about a DVI splitter? Would that do the trick?

Any other suggestions? Thanks.

A lot of people suggest using multiple dedicated gfx cards for more than 1 external monitor. Im not sure about the other ways you have suggested though.

The splitter is will just mirror your second output, it wont actually give you 3 desktops, but only 2.

The first one is your best best. USB is crap.

Actually the USB one isn't crap. Displaying in 1600 x 1200 aint too shabby for USB. First one is a bit pricey.

The resolution is nothing mate. There's a whole lot more to worry about than the resolution. Trust me, I've tried a usb one and watching video and a large amount of apps, the screen lags, not what you want now is it?

Anyways, just trying to help I'll stay out in future.
