Old  Macbook Pro + Adobe Creative Suite?

Hey guys,
I've been wanting to buy a MBP, but it is quite an investment. Does anyone else have the MBP with Adobe Creative Suite / Photoshop/Illustrator?

I have a feeling that it's going to be difficult to get used to the Mac versions of Photoshop, let alone getting used to the MBP itself.

A friend of mine suggested that I go to the Apple store and play with the MBP to get the feel of it.

Anyone else have other suggestions?

I never felt much of a change when I switched from PC to Mac, Macbook Pro . You might get few weeks to get the feel of the whole thing if you are switcher. Its infact easier on the interface but I suggest you get a keyboard & a mighty mouse as I personally don't like MBP keyboard for designing and other works that needs much time, but thats the case with any laptop.

Yes, try out MBP at the apple store .

my digital photo lab at school used macs so i had used them before, but never really like them.
i ended up getting a macbook pro (school required macs) and it only took me about a week to get used to it and fall in love....
you really just need to set up to what you want.
osx is so flexible, and its much better os than windows.

as for adobe products, they run exactly the same on osx as they would on windows...

HELL?
You think PS is easier on a PC. PS is sooo much faster and easier on a Mac than it is on a pc. If you want a laptop and you want both mac/windows go for a MBP, that my best suggestion. Or if you want a desktop and your not a hardcore gamer go get a new iMac

=) Thanks for the input you guys.

Would I be able to use my MX518 with a MBP or do I need to buy a completely new mouse that are built specifically for macs?
