Conrad, did you not read the thread? The tutorial site, he used the code from WAS given permission to distribute the code, as long as credit was given, which has been done. He has not done anything, except follow a tutorial, i really don't see what he's done wrong here!

Being allowed to use it in a tutorial is not the same as using it on a production site. Totally lame. Just like writing info on how to crack a game isn't illegal, but doing it, and then using it, is.

He gave full credit to Panic. = It's alright to steal designs as long as you give credit!?

Awesome, you're not very good at being a troll (however hard you appear to try, haha) but you're also not very good at actually bring any fulfilling, conclusive and interesting (that last one is important) points to a topic. That said, I can learn a few things from you (I'd never have thought about annoying people via PM!) so keep up the good work.
I do find it highly amusing that a web development company (Is it a company? You have no registration number on the site) would use a tutorial for their site. Even having source code (from a tutorial or not) clearly stating that someone else holds copyright, without distribution license, without any written permission of use, would be a big no-no for a business, right?
P.S. I'm going to steal your words (Awesome), but it's ok because I'll credit you: Have a good day (Copyright 2008 Awesome. All rights reserved, do not distribute, but it's ok to use for tutorial purposes, not for production, not for fair use, not for wrapping in a hanky, not for anyone whose name doesn't start with an 'a'.)

OH come now, if I didn't stir things up once in a while the post count would be only like 99.9% of what it is now
Let's try a -factual- summary.
http://www.zedtu.com/ is using code that is (C) 2007 Panic, Inc and is "not for redistribution".
Take from that what you will.

So true! Oh and am I allowed to post some comments/critique of Zedtu.com? People get flamed in other Member Website Announcements topics, so I figure it's best to ask.

Has no one realised Panic have given the creator of the tutorial permission to redistribute it? I take it you're just going to keep saying the wrong thing over and over with an immature attitude, sign of defeat...
