  Old  Warning system in place

Ok, enough is enough people

At the top of this forum is a button called "Rules", please click it and read over them. There has been way too many insults/complaints and general kiddie behavior on these forums for a while now.

I've decided to start a simple warning system, if you break a rule, i'll warn you, if you do it again, i'll ban you. Simple, huh?

Wonderful. Good to see issues like this being taken serious.

I think 3 chances would be better? depends on why they have been warned, little problem or big problem?

Glad to see this system though

This is certainly something that needs to be done. Friendly forums are hard to come by these days

How2Freelance,

3 chances are for children, we are running a mature and professional discussion board and resource, 2 chances is plenty, If the warning can't be understood or taken on, then too bad. Those kind of people don't belong here.

I believe that if there is indeed an honest mistake or two by a member that is not intentionally doing such offenses--then the admins will understand--however I do believe there are quite a few people around the forums that indeed need such harash rules to understand that this forums is professional and not to be used as some of them are choosing to use it as. (Only one period. )

this is good
we use this system on a forum I admin and it really does work. people usually calm down after one warning...if not, the ban button is always there

the problem is many people signup with different names once they're banned...but i guess you can use vB's admin panel to locate them via IP (even though they can spoof their IP if they want to...but then there's always a way around everything )

good luck
