Wanting a VPS soon
Well i plan on opening a forum soon. I hope to get 50-100 members online a day and 100-150 guests. This is what I hope to achieve.
I am looking at some VPSes, and wanted to know your thoughts on some good VPSes.
I am thinking about liquidweb, are there any others out there that you guys liked?

Why not wait until your forum is big enough to require a VPS?
You'll get back in the black quicker that way.

I don't wanna mess anything up when upgrading, so I thought to go with the VPS first. But you gotta point.
Soskel we used them before?
edit, I dont have a credit card for slicehost

Slicehost are good if you're wanting full control of your site, and the server it sits on, but do you really need to do all this by getting a VPS just yet? You haven't started your forum and when it is running, and becomes as popular as you project it to be, upgrading isn't that much of a hassle and with the software used today, your upgrade is effortless and you'll not lose a thing when changing.
What sort of budget are you on? I have VPS servers ready setup to go live once the new EH is active.
20 GB Raid Disk Space
300 GB Monthly Data Transfer
1GB Burstable RAM - At least half is guaranteed
cPanel/WHM & Fantastico
Looking at about $55 per month mate.
Let me know, I'll cut you a deal and get you it cheaper mate instead of buying direct from EH.

You don't have any control over the server 'it sits on'
And yes, I currently use slicehost. They are a great host! Just give them a call, or check out the irc/forum.
You can paypal me the $20/mo, and I can pay with my CC
(only if it's allowed, I'll have to ask)
Also, what makes slicehost so great is you can pop into IRC and chat with the owners, and people who work at slicehost!
Top Notch service

go to www.eukhost.com - Great 24/7 service with live online chat. Their costs are about $40 a month. I use them and i cant argue

50-100 people online a day... If its not at the same time then it wouldn't really require a VPS in my opinion...

Okay... Then I don't have the access to request a reboot? Install my own software etc. on it? Go away and have a think, then come back and then try to smartly comment on my post.
