Hosting
I am thinking about buying hosting for my upload site, I am moving from where I am currently hosted, most likely I will go to a shared hosting plan, I narrowed it down to hostican and bluehost, I am leaning towards hostican
I did some search through google, but I want your input on this?
Tbh I gave up on this site, but now traffic is picking up, I think I will break 1000 visits today

Check when the company was established, a bad one won't be around for 1-2+ years. If the company is new then don't do a long term commitment with them, because New companies tend to die out slowly and end up selling your plan to a different provider at the end of their venture. Take it 1 month at a time and check out the quality of the host.

I would not recommend bluehost from stories I have heard, I've never ever heard of hostican. From my rather extensive experience, all budget hosting is bad. Moreso with sites that come even relatively close to what they claim to give you. I would go with www.liquidweb.com

Have a look at offers section here. I think that shared account is enough for you.

I think that you can use web hostingstaff, hostsearch and WHT for reviews searching. Have a look at www.sibermname.com, www.1and1.com also. They are really good in shared web hosting providing.

I think that it is impossible to have on shared plan. Anyway have a look at ***********.com, Site5.com etc

I'd advise you to look at ********.biz, Lunarpages.com and *********.com. Prices are nice and fast support.

Take a look at www.servage.net - Used it in the past for a file hosting website, worked without too many issues.
