 Tender Call: Looking for a new host
I am a loyal client, I have been with Hostgator.com for over 30 invoices.
Recently been plagued with slow hosting / intermittent connections to my websites.
My requirements from a host:- Uptime guarantee with reports available to the customer
- Approximately 5 gigabytes of disk space (and bandwidth accordingly)
- Unlimited add on domains (or use of WHM)
- Accessible support (either chat, or email, daytime support fine if not 24/7)
- CPanel
- Reputation w/ testimonials
- Host owns/runs their server (no reseller kiddies)
Perks I'd be interested in:
- Security certificate
- Billing software add on
- 24/7 Support via toll free number or chat
So that's what I'm looking for in hosting in a package for preferably less than $20 per month, or directly around $20.

Jeff, I'm with HG too. I've contacted them and they told me they had a little apache issue. Now it should be fixed, well at least it is for me

Yes I did gather that from them as well; however, over the last couple weeks I have seen a noticeable decrease in their support response time as well as just the general feel of the hosting. So, I figured now was the time to put the feelers out for a new host.

Jeff, I understand your concern. Recently at HostGator there has been a lot of hiring and we have a lot of people on training. I would invite you to continue hosting with us and you can always contact me by chat or phone and request to be transferred to Lucas G. during the week on certain hours.
