hey guys,

im looking for a good png hack, that can be used with background images, or other tecniques you know of..

ive tried some but some wont make a page validate, and some just works on img tags. so help is appreciated, thanks

IE6 is a real pain in the neck, and FF crashes too much, i hope there is a browser we all can trust

Maybe with the new Internet Explorer coming out, it won't be too bad. I use Firefox and i notice a lot of problems with it, but it's better then IE. I only use Firefox for the tabs and downloading stuff, etc... Anyways, this isn't about browsers, but it's about png. Glad you found the cure for it and thanks for those links .

^ With the most recent upgrade to Firefox 1.5.0.4, I had absolutely no problems at all with it.
Before this upgrade it tended to suddenly quit without any warning, which could be the result of too many extensions installed.
Now I still have all these plugins and the stability is perfect.

Haven't had a problem with FF since before 1.0. Maybe try opera, or flock.
