I don't use slice in photoshop, yes I know how to use it but don't like slice as it has too many <table>. I just copy graphic then save it as image then code you know.
Did you look it up in google? There's alot.

Just because you slice it.. doesn't mean you have to use the default code it gives you... Just use the image output.

yeah if you are looking for simplistic ways, then just use the sliced images that photoshop gives you, then code it with dreamweaver or something like that, the more practice you get, keep looking at your code, and get familiar, then start looking into coding manually, getting a set of pre-coded templates with general arrangement to speed up production.

Ok, you don't need to "slice", you can simply crop each section into the size you want and save it as another name (or use ctrl-z to undo the crop)

You wouldnt even need to slice that, you could create that using div's with css & xhtml, only thing is the drop shadows, but they look really bad anyway, plus with out using images youll get a nice loading response and easier layout to nav,

He has Photoshop Elements 2.0 - which has full slicing capability, im sure of it.
