Trouble in paradise - Box expansion problem
Hey
I have a problem with my main content box that doesn't expand with the boxes inside of it. Here's a screenshot:

If you need the css or html, just tell me and i'll provide it.
Thanks!

If they're floated, have you remembered to clear the area below them?

Yup, the left one is allready cleared, but the other one just doesn't seem to align when i clear it. In fact, the clearing messes it up even more =/
Edit. Or did you mean the orange background? If so, I tried clearing that one, but it just ended up at the bottom of the page :P

I meant like:
Code:
<div id="left"></div>
<div id="right"></div>
<div style="clear: both"></div>

I've actually got one div containing the left and right one, does that mean I should add the clearing div after the container end-tag? Like:
Code:
<div id="main">
<div id="left"></div>
<div id="right"></div>
</div>
<div style="clear:both;"></div>

Add it just after #right, inside #main.

I ended up with this: http://www.exoload.com/808/myhood2.jpg
I checked all the margins and I couldn't fix it with the margins, and it seems everything looks perfect in IE 7 but messed up a bit in FF...

I have this problem on my blog. The only way around it is if I put the sidebar first- which ain't great SEO...

Yea what is it with that anyway? I've found that if you switch places with the sidebar and main content, everything can align perfectly. I don't understand the logic of that..guess I'm not much of a coder anyway :P

I'm not sure, its one of the only things which really bugs me - i tried (with a friend) for about half an hour last night trying all different variations of code, to no avail!
Maybe Gary could explain
