  Old  Ultimatum...

I have a moral delima on my hands.

First option is that I get a motorcycle (Kawasaki ZX-6R (Ninja) w/ yoshimura slip-on and racing plastics) or...

I take a trip to the UK for a little bit over the summer. I have really wanted a bike for t he past 3-4 years, but I've also wanted to visit the UK because I'm considering going to college there (live in the US). A good about the bike is that the gas that I spend on my truck now will last me 2-3 weeks on a bike when it lasts me barely a week now, but the UK could also be beneficial because I'm considering school there as well as living there permanently.

I guess I'm just wondering what others think about the situation, bike or trip. Any feedback is greatly appreciated.

Get the bike, there's nothing special about the UK personally.

How much will the bike be? Post some pics . I'd stay with the bike, then ride across the US, then decide to move .

Do both Think positive and save for both mate, you'll feel twice as happier if you finance both :-)!

Well, if you get a bike, make sure you have adequate health and life insurance..you're wanting a crotch-rocket, so make sure you have that stuff squared away. I know, it's morbid to think that way, but I know how people drive, and their stupid. I also have a friend who worked in the ER and ICU. I heard one too many stories of motorcycle accidents. More times than not, it wasn't the riders who were careless, but other drivers on the road that are just plain stupid.

And, you're still young. You have plenty of time to plan and save for a trip to the UK. LJR, you might not think there's anything special, but it's sure a heck of alot different than the states.

I would buy a bike, not necessarily the one you mentioned, but something that would definitely save some gas money for sure. Good luck with your decision.

I say UK mate, great food great everything and if you can choose your future university or even consider one it's 10x better than getting a bike.

It's not a moral delima... a moral delima would be "do I sleep with my girlfriends mother or no?".

Go to the UK.

Fix your priorities. Need vs. Want

Bike: enjoyment

Trip to UK: Possible exposure to a whole different world, imo. Especially how you are thinking about going to college there, this will be the ideal experience to find out places of interests. Like where, you might want to live and work.

I think I'll start up saving to go the UK as well, is there any financial aid for students?
