  Old  vbulletin skin

i want to know how to design a skin for vb forum. i dont just want to replace the colours with something new, but i want to completely revamp the design. i want to know how to edit the layout in dreamweaver, and move around objects such as the login textbox, and bits of code that refer to username, post etc.

can someone give me any pointers...

Just make a new template / style (can't remember), and have the old one default?
If you know what I mean

Search in your folders, I can't remember it
But it's something about you have to upload an "images" folder or something.
Look at vbulletin.com

.clicky, when you are logged in you will see an 'Admin' link at the bottom.
Click that link and log in again.

On the left side, double-click on 'Styles & Templates'. Then click on 'Style Manager'.
Here, you can create a new style by clicking on '[Add New Style]'.
Give the new style a name and click 'save'.

Once you have returned to the Style Manager, select 'edit templates' from the dropdown menu.

For the frontpage edit the templates in 'FORUMHOME' and for the thread view edit the templates in 'Show Thread Templates' and 'Postbit Templates'.

It wouldn't be smart to edit these templates in dreamweaver because they are snippets and may not display like they would when used on your forum.

I hope that will help you get started

I suggest you use vBulletin's official support forums.
