 TFL Summer Contest?
Why not? Lets have something, like maybe, best summer photo, Photoshop allowed, the winner would get some kind of special graphic or something like member of the month. What do you guys think?

photoshop allowed should be a no no enless the entire photo is done in photoshop, cause some people are better at photoshop and others can't, or don't have access to it, which makes it unfair. but i like the ideal of best summer photo.. i know the best place to do that..

This is an international forum, so this kind of contest is unfairly biased towards those living in the northern hemisphere.

How is it biased towards anyone? He didn't want to run a contest that only people in the nh can win.

It is summer in the northern hemisphere, and alot of us will be going away on holiday I imagine, so we'll all be able to get some good snaps.

Like I said, a contest like this is biased towards people living in the northern hemisphere. It is the middle of winter here in New Zealand, therefore we can't take any summer shots, therefore a contest such as this is biased towards those living in the northern hemisphere.

Its supposed to be summer here in the UK, but its the worst one I've ever experienced - some parts of the country expecting 4 inches of rain today!!

well what exactly makes it mean it have to be summer, just make it like a photo shoot contest.. doesnt mean it has to be a summer photo it can be what ever kind you are, i mean in my opinion i like winter photos alot better then summer photos..

How about a contest for transforming a photograph? - e.g changing weather and atmosphere on a photograph. This way it wouldn't be biased because it wouldn't have to be a summer photo to start with.
