The GTX 260 is probably enough for most people's needs.

Ya unless your a huge gamer with games like Crysis/FarCry2 or other high graphics intensive a GTX260 or even a GTS250 would do you fine.

For most games, the GTS 250 or GTX 260 will be fine. Movies don't need a very good video card, but 3D programs might need a good video card. I think these ones would be fine though.

I get by perfectly fine with an 8400GS.

i know someone who has a gtx 280 and it can run call of duty 4 on highest settings and he gets upto 450fps, dont forget tho its not always about the graphics card, ensure you got a decent cpu & maybe some high speed ram 2gb 800mhz+ (however this is if you intend of gaming alot and playing some demanding 3d games) if not save yourself some money and go with the 260.

Also tbh if you plan on hooking the pc upto the tv with resolutions of 1900 × 1200 then maybe the 275 would be a gd idea. At low resolutions it wont make much diffrence, exept the price.
