Old  A couple of the Bengals

Hey Guys,

I'm new to Photography, so you may see me in this forum more often!

I dived straight into DSLR and purchased my Canon 400D with Kit Lense last Thursday. I am a total newbie to Photography, and I look forward to learning loads on the subject, whilst sharing my pictures at the same time!

So, enough with the chat, here are a couple of my first shots.

Suki :-

PJ :-

After some PhotoShop :-

Both are Bengal Cats and are around 2 1/2 years old.

I look forward to your C+C.

Regards,

Craig.

As far as I am aware, the Rebel XTi is exactly the same as my 400D. It's just sold under a different name in the states.

*after some research*
Wow, you're absolutely right! For some reason I figured a 400D was a Nikon. Possibly because the naming setup for Nikons are similar (D80, D40, etc.). Just proves to show my knowledge of cameras/photography.

Yes, I must admit, the whole 40D, 400D from canon, and then the D40 etc from Nikon is confusing!

I'm just awaiting a new 4GB card to come tomorrow, and then i'll get out with it more next week.

Do you have any pictures to share?

Ha, I didn't buy a CF Card with the camera, I had one at home, didn't realise it was only 64MB!

Yeah, my aunt has picked it up from China, worked out at just under $40 for one

Lovely kitty photos - I think the first one would be super without the colour cast! Add them to the (dead) TalkFreelance flickr group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/talkfreelance
