Yes, I heard the same as well except rather than different prices I heard it would be open/unlocked to any network.
I suppose we will just have to wait and see what its actually like.

If apple do release the iPhone I will probably get one as a replacement for my old phone, if they don't or its not avalible in the UK right away I will be getting a white LG Chocolate.

Bad idea, my sisters had it since it came out and all shes had is hassle with it. Sometimes when its charging it doesnt fully charge and as Dream says, she hardly ever gets a good signal.

If you haven't noticed in the past year or so apple has become a lot more "open" and they are differently expanding their horizons beyond their OS Xs and iPods. So i wouldn't be the least bit surprised to see something about it at the expo. Apple's products are great so i don't see any reason as to why a phone from them would be any different. There not going to be the ones hosting the service it's only going to be a phone. So you wouldn't have to worry about the network being bad.

Yeah, because the iPod turned out as such a failure.

uhhh... ever hear of an "iPod"?
----
However, people are saying that the "iPhone" won't be as popular because there isn't a HUGE need for a cool small phone, as there are a lot of companies already out there that make them.
When the iPod came out, it was the first of it's kind, and there was a huge demand for a new style of music player.
