Well I've been contemplating on starting a new forum...
But i have no idea as to what subject.
I want to create something that alot of people will be a part of, and isnt too 'played out'

any ideas?

You don't see many forums for just chitter chatter, most have a theme, your theme can be no theme. :P

Ever heard of photochopping (Photoshopping cars)?

There's one major player in that niche; digimods.co.uk; and the staff there are awful. With the right skin, few ads, good staff, etc. you could easily dominate the market.

Digimods forum was relaunched last November, hence the low stats.

It could be advertised on automotive websites, and in car magazines.
I'd be more than happy to link to it in my sig on DM-F [I have about 700 posts since the relaunch, been a member for about 3-4 years].

Once you have some of the big names in chopping on the forum [which would be easy to do], the rest will follow.
To give it that original boost, just host a fairly large opening contest. Then monthly contests thereafter.

Make a gaming forum about Counter Strike. Gaming forums in general are over saturated, but i haven't seen very many quality forums just about the game Counter Strike. I'll sell you the domain TalkCS.com
