Just noticed that you are from Aus... Your name sounds even better with an Aussie accent.

I began with www.nzgraphicdesign.com but decided I needed a new shorter name since NZ Graphic Design is more suited to being a design portal for Kiwi's. I was really after a single word name, and preferably an english word.

After a couple of weeks the whole package came together initially as Square Design with the slogan being "Think outside the square". The problem was that when you consider that name with that slogan then we are telling our clients to think elsewhere

Then after another week of consultation with friends and family I decided upon www.circle.co.nz which fulfilled all of what I was looking for in a domain. It is very short, easily recognisable, slogan works well with the domain name and it's simple to brand.

Anyways I have replied in here to bump this thread since another one has been started like it.

Well mine's pretty original for this use but unoriginal for it's original idea, originally i had registered www.gdimension.com for a game review and mod community named game dimension but after being a bit bored of that idea i switch it over to website and computer design by the name of gdimension but after a while without any work i got rid of it and just went to private designing for people that know me or have been reffered to me and didn't really need a website for a while so let it slip for a few months but then after fighting temptation for tto long i checked to see if it was still available and registered the domain again this time under gdimension web solutions with the slogan "where there are no limits" i used gdimension web solutions as a name because it sounds more professional and because i started offering web hosting and other items and have currently brought the site down to get rid of my old design

I've registered quite a few number of domains but I guess I'll just mention about the recent ones.
I wanted to start a freelance ratings site and FreelancerRatings.com seemed appropriate.
Also, as I began to register few more freelance related domains, I felt it'd be nice to consolidate all these under one parent domain and since Freelance.com wasn't available I registered Freelance1.com

Warm Regards,
Kavs
