So far so very good, the only thing I would change is the navigation text placed on the blue background. Make it pure white

making it pure white makes it very difficult to read.

That was my initial nav.

I had to add the gradient to make it a bit more ledgible (sp).

sure but making it more blurry isn't more effective. you need to look over that area again..

*edit* light grad on light bg makes it blurry thats what i mean.

Contrast is lacking on the blue navigation.

You also have a different saturated blue on the top right clouds area, match it to the navigations saturation.
