Anyone could have a psd with "bits and pieces" in it. Can't you just screenshot your paypal?

Besides, I heard Chris didn't even design a subpage...

What is that supposed to mean, bits and pieces in a PSD? So let me get this right, you purchased the design from another forum, you received 3 PSD's, one full of 'bits and pieces', one of the frontpage and one of subpage?

Bare in mind there was only ever one PSD and that was for the frontpage, fully layered. There was never a subpage for it so i'll be interested to see how that turned out.

Peter, you said in your opening post that you can't find the PSD, so you obviously don't have rights to it.

I'm telling you what happened, i was contact via email from a past client of mine from DP. I havent a clue what there username is etc. im at work, im not finding out until im home.

They sold me a homepage psd and a subpage. I then took the psd and started hacking it up to my preferences playing around etc. (which is the psd i have on my machine) on my thumbdrive i HAD 2 psds which are now corrupt, hence editing my post when i found out they were corrupt, i explained to the guy who bought my rights to it that i've emailed the seller and he has not gotten back to me.

I'm not saying you didn't design it etc. I'm saying I've bought a ripped piece of work, he or someone else have obviously made the subpage using your styles etc.

I've seen chris's psd(s) and they usually have hundreds of layers in them. But if you claim yours only has "bits n pieces", it will clearly be a rip. Unless you can prove otherwise, it is accusable that this layout was initially stolen.

Have you refunded Matik yet?
That should be your first priority, as it's no fault of his that he was scammed into buying a stolen design, and his money has only just changed hands.

Ok so let me get this straight, an old client of yours contacts you out of the blue to sell you this design? That's fair enough, it seems a little odd though.

What do you mean you started hacking it up to your preferences? It's exactly the same as the original design bar one or two of the fonts. Providing this hacked up version is no longer 'corrupt' can you email it me then please (cprowe(at)hotmail.com)? Surely the PSD isn't going to be a great deal different to the original when all that has changed is fonts?

Also, why if you didn't design or code it did you include it within your temporary portfolio you used to have up?

Having spoke to a coder, slices like the following; http://grab.by/13sg seem to back up the fact that it was actually coded from a png/jpg.

Which is super strange if I'll have to wait few days to get refunded. if he want to keep some of his reputation he should refund me now.
