That's a tad harsh. I didn't know it was obviously out of your budget. I clearly stated my price, you said that's too much. End of. You can't be so unwelcoming when we the coders do not know what's too much or too little for you. It's what we're worth, not what you'll pay.

Is this position still open, or even semi-open? If it is, I would definitely like to apply.

Perhaps I should have been specific even further, but I was sure to think that because I haven't been impressed with previous coders, my budget would be low er because I have little faith in them.

Besides, yes the position is still semi-open : I was working with a coder whom I liked, but that was only for one day and he is on holiday, hence semi-open.
