Old  WORD to HTML conversion guide

Hi guys !

I got an assignment of conversion of 500 Word formatted docs (each doc has atleast 2 pages) into plain HTML with default H1, H2s, etc.

The main point of my post is, I want to get an idea about how much I can charge for this ?

And regarding conversion, is there any tool out there which preserve the H1, H2, Llists etc. but removes the office specific tags seamlessly ?

I'll look forward to hear from you

best regards,

Zaigham

I've got over 3,000 HTML pages that were created in Word to find a suitable clean-up method for o_0

Dreamweaver cleans Word code to a certain degree.

I've also got to integrate a new HTML editor into my companies back-end and have been looking at www.xstandard.com as the most customizable and the best at cleaning Word code, (from what I've looked at so far), so you may want to take a look at that.

If you find anything else useful let me know

There is also a tool Dean over at textpattern created (I think) to tidy up WORD html pages.
