Honestly, I would recommend spending about $70 more, and buying this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...ng%2b225bw I have it and it's amazing. I love it. Or for $20 more, you can get the 226BW, but that's a little stretch over what you initially wanted.

However, out of the three, I'd go with http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16824001094 as it isn't glossy (glossy can be bad), and the price is simply too good to pass up.

Any reason why you wouldn't get the LG? It has a 1k better contrast ratio.

I don't think you understand contrast ratios; they are almost completely arbitrary.

Anyway, I suggest this:

I am so confused at this point. So many suggestions. All I know is the higher the contrast ratio the better.

I have two Hanns-G monitors and love them both. The price and fantastic review on Newegg made me buy two.

Completely untrue. All contrast ratio measures is the difference from the brightest white to the darkest black... the colors between will always be anyones guess - at least until there is an industry standard for measurement.

Ya, heard good things about them too tyler, thinking about picking up two 19's from newegg to flank my 22

Check out the E228WFP by Dell. It's a great bargain.
