I agree, I hate this rule have to keep adding stupid information which isnt really needed.

Yea it does seem kind of stupid to have this rule in place if everyone is just going to type [20 character rule] to bypass the reason the rule was put there.
It doesn't keep spammers out since their posts are longer than 20 chars. It stops people from making lazy replies like lol, rofl, or posts that contain a quote along with a period showing that that person agrees with the person they quoted.

The 20 chars rule was done as a test, we will review it if most members don't like it - or adjust it to a lower limit.

A lower limit would be much better. 5 or 10 would still be good, but pointless still.
