You put the text in the wrong div. And really,

Code:
<div id="whatiscontent" ></div>
<div id="sponsoredlinks" ></div>
<div id="sponsoredcontent" ></div>
<div id="leftbarfooter" ></div>
<div id="partnerlinks"></div>
<div id="partnercontent"></div>
<div id="rightbarfooter"></div>
<div id="supportus"></div>
<div id="supportcontent"></div>
<div id="supportfooter"></div>
<div id="maincontent"></div>
<div id="mainfooter"></div>
is not how to code xhtml/css correctly.

Edit: Wow. Just looked at the website in IE6...

He was helping. That is not how you should code. Fixing it would fix your errors.
