New Monitor Just Arrived
Got my 19" widescreen all set up, it's great. So much more space and the colour is much better than my old 17" CRT. My computer took a long while to start up, maybe it was just searching for new hardware? But it seems to be working fine now.

LCD's beat CRT's any day. I remember replacing my 17" CRT with my 24" Widescreen, it was so much better.

I would've gone with a bigger size with a more well known brand, such as a Samsung or Viewsonic. 19" is too small! It looks nice though, congrats.

1000th post yey!
19" widescreen is big enough for me at the moment. It's such a massive improvement from my 17" CRT; the colour is so much better. As for the manufacture, they're not that bad. The monitor seems good quality and the specifications are quite reasonable.

Yeah I love the 24" I just got recently. It's well worth the price. But yeah 19" is damn good as well. Once you've got a size, you can't go any lower without feeling restricted.

Very nice. I too have a 19" widescreen manufactured by Gateway and I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful screen. However right now I can't decide whether to go with another 19" and run dual monitors, or upgrade to a 24" or 27". Ya see, the 17" CRT -> 19" LCD was also a big jump for me. But now, the 19" seems like a regular monitor. You'll understand, Steven, in a month or two

I hope not! It seems big to be now but I know bigger ones will come out and this will seem smaller. But for now, it's perfect.
I think Dual monitors would be good, but I think I'd rather have the one big monitor; I would use it more than the dual monitors I think.
