  Old  text in the Firefox

Hi,

I have noticed that the text in the Firefox look broken (not smooth) to me as compared to IE. Did another notice that?

Nope, it's perfectly smooth for me.

^^ IE7

^^ FF3

As far as I'm concerned, I hate the whole "smooth" text about IE, it makes fonts look ugly imo.

FF has less anti-aliasing on text, which I prefer, looks crisper.

it's system wide, if you text in IE is smooth, then you have it on.

Not 100% true
Yes, ClearType IS system-wide, but IE7 has sort of built-in ClearType algorithm too, so you do not have to have CT installed system-wide to experience smooth text in IE7.

If you like this effect in IE7, then install ClearType for the whole system (including Firefox of course):

I think Fire Fox is the one and only browser, where we can easily add many add-ons accordingly our needs.
