Too expensive. $500 for a 32GB touch? Bull.

But $400 for the 16GB wasn't a rip off? I mean for the extra 100 bucks you get double the space. Not too bad of a deal, but dishing out half a grand is a lot of an iPod

No iPod ever cost that much. Also Jako, I never said that the $400 was a rip-off.

"Maybe its just because the iPhone and iTouch are such similar devices, but these prices seem really wonky to me.

So you have one unit thats $400 for 8GB, and a very similiar unit with a couple things left out, so its $400 for 16GB. Now if you're gonna add $100 to the price of each, doesn't that mean you add the same amount of memory to each?

I mean, how do they justify the price difference?
This $500 iPhone should have 24GB, or they should have made it $550 and made 32GB. Either way, it just doesn't make much sense to run out and get this (total rip-off!) 16GB iPhone."

My thoughts exactly.

I'll wait till they make something remotely sensible in terms of space before i buy one.

Apple are so slow at dev'ing existing products, the technology is already there...

I'm saving up for the 32GB touch. My nano is pretty beaten up, and it only holds 1GB, so I think an upgrade is in order. The only problem I find with the touch is the price.

I should wait and see it drop in price abit - $500 is abit steep, and it's not really worth paying for the 4/8/16GB ones because of the price differential in my opinion.
