I have quick question about "right to represent" one specific client agreement sent via email by recruitment agency. How binding is that when I send reply to such email with my acceptance? Also if it's legally binding how long does it last?
Is it only for particular position or for any position at that client?
Replying to an email is equally binding to signing a contract, just more difficult to enforce. The length depends on how the courts will interpret the contract. If they say it's written it's indefinite, otherwise it may be limited by state statues. As a professor of mine once said "If the agreement is more important than a piece of paper, use one."
