  Old  Shift + F

For some reason on my laptop I can't "shift + f" to return a capitol ("F"). It used to be fine, it started happening randomly one day.

I can use shift to capitalise any other letter and just pushing "f" still works. I was using XP when the problem first started occuring but now I am using Ubuntu 8.04 (NetBook Remix).

It's not a major problem, but fairly annoying. Anyone have any clues as to why this might be happening?
