Old  URGENT HELP! copied images=black images in Photoshop

I have been copying images from FireFox into Photoshop CS3 and they end up with black around the image itself. This is only happening from certain sites not all. Below are some pictures as to what is happening. Please help me solve this problem as soon as possible. Thanks! Note: I am just using a random picture for the example.

Copying any image (without a background, I guess) gets me the below result in PS.

The problem is most likely because they are transparent. Try saving the image, and then opening it in PS.

If that doesn't work, just use the magic wand tool and get rid of the black (there is a border of white around the image, so it shouldn't affect the quality).

that works fine. Just earlier today the SAME images that I copied appeared fine without the blank but now they have the black. That is the only reason why I am curious as to why it's happening- because it was not always like that. Thanks! If you have more advice I would appreciate it.

it is because they are transparent, i recommend you always save the image and not copy, as coping does delete decrease the quality.

Since it is transparent, when you copy it photoshop adds a background color. It is much better to save it and then open it in photoshop.
