Yes, it is certainly possible and would (in all honesty) take a competent coder just a couple of minutes to draft something which does that.

Technically, proxies are made to get around governmental controlls or departmental controls over people's internet access. By recording what searches are made, and specifically thier IPs, you defeat the object of a proxy i feel.

.amaZe: Yes it is possible and quite easy to do as well.

Xi0s: Where on earth do you get that proxies are made to get around filters and such? Just because they are predominantly used by people for that reason and webmasters take advantage of that knowledge, it doesn't mean that proxies were made to get around various things which in doing such would be illegal. Many larger proxies out there do log various data for just that reason, to log and ban those who are using the site for illegal purposes.

So you believe people going on child pornography websites through your proxy site is right? Just because it gets round the governmental countrolls doesnt mean the sites they are allowed to view are right.
