  Old  Tutorial for creating joomla templates?

I wanna learn how to take a html template and convert it to work with joomla the only thing I saw was a wiki which wasn't to helpful is their any other tutorials out their that teach making a joomla template?

I used "compassdesigns" tutorials myself - they are lot easier to follow (in my opinion)
