IndieAnthems.com podcast.
Hi,
I've just finished recording a podcast for one of my websites, indieanthems.com. This was the first podcast we've made so the production values arn't exaclty immense.
You can download a copy of the podcast from the website.
Please let me know what you think of it.
Cheers,
Jon

Needs alot of work, I wouldn't have released it until it was half decent. Based on that I wouldn't bother downloading another one, get it offline and try again.
It was bad for many reasons, mainly because it was hard to hear what was going on (talking far away from the mic?) also didn't really seem as though you knew what you were doing in the beginning.
Oh and another thing, I never expected you to sound like that lol...sounds like your voice hasn't broke or something.

Lol! Thats my telephone voice. I used to work in telesales and you just sort of pick it up after a while.
You're right, we really didn't know what we were doing. The entire thing was made up on the spot but i thought it worked quite well. Chris-moyles-esque?

Try give it some focus and then you're on your way, casual podcasts just don't do it for me I'm afraid.

Actually Jon, I don't have much interest in your site (not really my thing) so perhaps it's better to ask someone who is a regular visitor? Maybe then you will get a better opinion, a poll on the website or something?
But, I do listen to podcasts....and I think as Anthony mentioned above, this needs a structure, you should script what you're going to do before hand so it comes together better. Perhaps edit it afterwards? A introduction jingle etc?
Just make it more professional. You have a great site and then a podcast that imo damages it.

I think less of a script and more of an agenda, some minor editing and a definite introduction jungle and outro jingle would do it the world of good mate.

Sort out the mic issue, sounds like your trying to beatbox sometimes and other times i have to move forwards to the speaker to hear.
Does sort of sound like chris moyles, but somethings missing - i guess you'll get that style if you keep doing it!
