Logo needed

Gonzalo: thats an excellent design in my opinion- i'm not sure what to say to improve it to be honest, i really like it

Jeff: after seeing gonzalos i have to say i think using the title as opposed to the tagline would be better. also maybe move the X behind the logo as well and see what you come up with?

Thanks for the quick feedback.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the small size. Maybe you need to remove the text or use only the "PCBI".

thanks, a scalable version would be the best so i can use it elsewhere on the site for a banner, etc would be great if you can supply this.

hi fragz, some padding below 'province of cape breton island' would be good so that it's centered in the circle and the island is fairly blurry around it (i'm assuming this is a quick mock-up). i'm looking for something a little more modern if that makes sense as well so see if you can spice it up a bit? i'm also not sure how it would scale will all of the text?

and i forgot to answer your question about the text- i've spoken with the site owner and he thinks its a good idea to use a bigger design with full text in the body of the home page and maybe we can use the smaller scaled version in the header throughout the site. so if there was a way to get a smaller version (40 X 43) as well with only the intials PCBI in it i think we would be very pleased

this may sound weird but am we are extremely happy with this logo- is there any way i can end the contest now or am i obligated to let it run its full course? the reason i say this is because i showed gonzalos' improved version to the site owner and he wants this logo. i explained to him the process of the contest but he insisted i ask
