  Old  Search Engines

How do I go about creating a search engine for my website? An internal search, of only text and files on my website. It's for an intranet.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You could use the google site search:
http://www.google.com/sitesearch/index.html

You may have to make your own if you want only specific files to show.

This is for an intranet, so the files won't be available publically. So google search is not really an option. How would i code my own? Or any other suggestions?
